James M. Gatlin

Author of Smoke and Mirrors.

The main character in my novel, Mary, whose picture that is 

to the right, is a hitch hiking ghost who dies in the early 1930's and continues to

walk the Southwestside  of Chicago to present day.  Two middleaged, amatuer   

ghost hunters pick-up an E.V.P. one Sunday and spend the rest of the

book trying to capture more evidence of her existence.
